2015 SKINCARE FAVOURITES

Over the last year or so I have experimented with many different cleansers and facial washes and I have to admit, it's really fun! Sad but true - experimenting and creating cleanser cocktails is what I do for fun on the weekend. But this is a different blog post for another time.

Today I wanted to talk about some skincare items that have been regular in my life throughout 2015.

This is something that I have used morning and night for years now. I won't go on about it for the sake of repeating myself (Sorry! Apparently I repeat myself ALL the time!) You can read my post about it here.

I use this as a second hydrating toning step after the Glow Tonic, morning and night. This deposits a really fine mist all over my face with a just a couple of sprays. The reason why I got this in the first place is because it contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump. Anyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with acids in skincare - so it was a brainer decision. I'm really liking the feeling of this underneath my makeup. It will never be on the same 'hydrating' level of Indeed Labs Hydraluron, but for a mist, this is really lovely and I can see me using it for years down the track like the Glow Tonic.

Okay, so I never realised how FREAKING EXPENSIVE this oil is until I wrote this blogpost! I was lucky enough to be gifted this in a goodie bag at an event, otherwise I probably would have never got the opportunity to try it. It is a beautiful night time oil, filled with all the good stuff - in total 6+ different oils go into this product. Aurelia is marketed as a pro-biotic skincare range, meaning that it is quite good for cell renewal and repair. I like this because it absorbs very quickly into the skin but doesn't feel like a wasted step because my skin still feels soft and moisturised afterwards. It's also great for fading any marks leftover from blemishes. Win!

So that's the roundup - what skincare products were your regulars throughout 2015?
Tell me below.
