APRIL EMPTIES | FACE, BODY, HAIR & MAKEUP

I realise that this is late (AGAIN) but this time I have a legitimate reason! This week, I moved to London, from Australia. It was a massive job and I'm pretty tired, but I finally feel settled enough to get back into blog life. I even took these pictures back in Australia because I knew I wouldn't be organised once I got here. So let's take a closer look...

L-R: Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Wash (SAMPLE), De Lorenzo
Nova Fusion 'Silver' Coulour Care Shampoo

This Peter Thomas Roth Body Wash was a sample I received with an online order. It smelt really invigorating, very citrusy if you will and worked well for waking me up in the morning. It had little granules inside it which I assumed were jojoba beads beacause they burst when the gel went foamy. I liked it, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it because the smell was quite full-on for all the time.

The De Lorenzo Shampoo was a recommendation from my friend Lucy, as I'd just had blonde foils put through my hair and wanted to keep them as ashy as possible. I was a little skeptical as I'd previously had 'fire engine red' foils through my hair and used a shampoo for redheads, which left all my towels and pillow cases looking like they were involved in a murder scenario. But this shampoo was great, left my hair looking clean and not brassy and lasted a long time too because it is ridiculously concentrated. That being said, it was quite hard to create a lather in my hair, so I probably used more than I really needed too because I like the feel of lots of foam!

L-R: L'Oreal Gentle Make-Up Remover For Eyes & Lips, Mario Badescu
Aloe Vera Toner (SAMPLE)

The L'Oreal Make-Up Remover is no stranger to my blog or YouTube channel, so I won't go into too much detail. Clearly I love it, considering I used up two within the month. This stuff is SO good for my sensitive eyes, I think if I directly poured it in I wouldn't get irritated! Not that I would try! It is in a different package here in the UK, a much nicer one!

The Mario Badescu Toner was another sample I received and was all round pretty boring. It didn't really make my skin feel soft, which is the main reason why I use a toner. Oh well, can't love everything I guess.

L-R: Inglot Matte Eyeliner Gel #77, Maybelline 'The Falsies Flared' Volum'
Express Mascara

For makeup, two of my favourite products decided to dry up and not function anymore. This mascara and gel liner featured heavily in a lot of my tutorial videos, so they will be getting snapped up again very shortly. RIP old friends!

Let me know what you used up in April? Leave thoughts and comments below :)

  6. i use the l'oreal gentle remover quite religiously. it works well but the only thing is the price i think. i usually have to wait for it to go on sale. then again, one bottle goes a long long way.
